Evangelism is a pretty big word that sends shivers down the spine of many a believer. We know we’re supposed to “do it.” We just don’t know how.

Relax. There’s an easy way. Sharing your faith doesn’t require a seminary degree or training in Biblical scholarship. You just need to be fashionable. What better way to show this then by wearing a Christian clothing? Everybody wears t-shirts these days. You might as well wear a Christian one and multitask.

They come in all sizes, from toddlers to big and tall. A lot of believers who join a health club to lose weight find wearing a Christian tee a great way to witness while they work out!

You see, a lot of us aren’t comfortable with sharing our faith to strangers. We stumble for words. We worry we’ll say the wrong thing. But if the message is on the clothes we wear, the truth of the Bible and the Savior we serve is right there for everyone to see. It is said that the average Christian T-Shirt is “read” by 3,000 people before it wears out.

That means we can practice evangelism by becoming a walking billboard. If you need inspiration, think of the words of the great apostle Paul who told the Corinthian church, that we are to consider ourselves “Christ’s ambassadors… as if God was making his appeal through us.”

There’s an old cliche that says that the Christian may be the only Bible some people read. How much easier it is if there’s a Bible verse across our shirt.

Sharing Christ involves a lot more than just talking. It means being lights in a dark world. And in today’s T-Shirt culture, what better way that wearing our witness. That’s called lifestyle evangelism.
